Nested just 1.5 hours away from Manila, Hidden Valley Springs is a tropical rainforest paradise filled with natural springs and waterfalls.
I visited Hidden Valley Springs together with Visit-Philippines Fr, and we stayed just for a day trip. We got to enjoy six natural pools, including a soda pool and warm pool. For the day trip, the entrance fee cost us Php 2,200.00 per person and Php 1,000 per child, and it includes buffet lunch and afternoon snack.
Since we live in Manila, we just took our own private vehicle to get there, and only used Google Maps to make our way there. From Makati Manila, take South Luzon Expressway to Exit 52 to Batangas. When you see the Junction Inn Mansion, turn left and continue until you come across a Y intersection. In that intersection, go left and that will lead you to Alaminos. Once you reach the Alaminos Church, turn left and follow the signs to the resort.
If you don’t have your own vehicle and you’re looking for public transportation options, I’ve suggested an itinerary below:
How to Get to Hidden Valley Springs
From Manila (Pasay or Cubao), take a bus going to Lucena. Fare is approximately Php 90.00. Go down in Alaminos market, around 1.5hrs away from Manila. From the market, go to the terminal that says “Apasan”, and take a tricycle ride to Hidden Valley Springs.
If you want to take a tour to get to the resort, there are many options online such as Get Your Guide.
